Parents/Carers

Children and young people who have experienced a difficult early start may need a particular kind of care, and parents and carers may need to use a different way of responding to challenging behaviour. These specialised approaches can feel quite different to more ‘typical’ parenting strategies. That’s why we offer a range of therapeutic parenting programmes designed to help parents and carers better understand and support their child or young person. Our programmes are developed in-house by Gateway Psychology Ltd and delivered by highly experienced clinical psychologists and psychological therapists.
