Clinical Psychologist (Band 8a Equivalent)

We’re looking for a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist (Band 8a equivalent) to join our specialist, trauma-informed team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children, young people and families across adoption, fostering, kinship care and residential care, delivering high-quality assessment, therapeutic intervention, consultation and training. You’ll join a supportive multidisciplinary team that values clinical excellence, innovation and meaningful relationships, with opportunities to contribute to service development, supervise colleagues and develop your specialist interests.

Assistant Psychologist positions are occasionally available at Gateway Psychology. These will be advertised when they become available. Please check our social media and this page on our website to see if we are recruiting at the moment.

Trainee Clinical Psychologist Placements

We regularly work with individuals in their final year of the DClinPsy course. A placement at Gateway may be possible, but this is subject to availability. Please ask your university to make contact with us to discuss a trainee placement.

Work Experience & Volunteer Positions

At the moment, we are not able to offer paid or unpaid work experience placements. Students are welcome to enquire about our current availability, but please note that we might not be able to accommodate your work experience request.
