Therapeutic parenting & trauma-informed online training

We offer a range of online training, webinars and e-learning modules. These cover a variety of topics, such as empathic reflection, pre-verbal trauma, understanding diagnoses and more. Developed in-house by our highly experienced team of clinical psychologists and therapists, our online therapeutic parenting training can be watched on-demand in many cases, or hosted live for interactive webinar events. We often host special guests too, including experts in the industry.

On-demand webinars

We have a variety of webinars and on-demand training options available here at Gateway Psychology. Please view our upcoming events page to view our newest releases. Our webinars are always developed and presented in-house by our highly qualified clinical psychologists and therapists, who all have many years of experience in working with children, young people and families.

Our webinars are delivered through our partner website, ClickMeeting. You can securely pay for your chosen content using PayPal, ensuring your purchase is safe and secure. You can also pay by card using PayPal if you do not wish to sign up for an account.

Interactive e-learning events

In addition to on-demand webinars, we host interactive e-learning events on occasion. These events give participants the opportunity to ask questions via chat message, as well as take part in polls, questionnaires and Q&As. We also host special guests in this format too. Our next available interactive event will be posted on our upcoming events calendar.

We also regularly host live, interactive courses, such as our eTR-UST parenting programme or A-ABC programme for parents and carers of adolescents. These in-depth courses may be able to be funded through your Local Authority or Regional Adoption Agency depending on your circumstances. Please get in touch with us if you would like to learn more.

FAQs

We understand that accessing input from a fully qualified clinical psychologist or clinical therapist can be expensive. Our webinars and e-learning modules are designed to be more accessible and are priced accordingly. Please check your chosen event for the most up to date pricing structure.

Our online training is developed and presented by fully qualified clinical psychologists and therapists, who all have many years of experience in working with children, young people and families. We believe that this is what sets our online training apart, giving parents and carers the opportunity to access highly qualified and experienced support at a fraction of the cost.

We’re one of the only organisations in the United Kingdom offering online training developed and presented by clinical psychologists too

Most of our webinars are aimed at parents and carers, but they’re open to anyone interested in the topic discussed. They are unlikely to be suitable for children and young people to watch, although you are welcome to contact us if you have any particular questions.

We may develop content specifically for children and young people in the future. Please check back with us or sign up to our mailing list for updates (you’re welcome to send us suggestions for topics too!).

Some of our online training has a Q&A feature, which can be utilised for asking questions. However, we can’t offer in-depth answers for topics discussed on all of our webinars. It simply wouldn’t be clinically appropriate for us to do so.

For general administrative questions, please get in touch with [email protected].

If you would like to book a consultation session after watching one of our webinars, please let us know. We can offer virtual consultations, as well as face-to-face meetings for those in our local area (Stoke-on-Trent, UK).

You will need a device with an internet connection and speakers to access our webinars. You can use your mobile phone, laptop, personal computer or tablet to access our online training. All our videos can be watched on any type of operating system.

Some of our live, interactive events will require a microphone and webcam too

When you book one of our webinars, you will be redirected to a website called ClickMeeting. We use ClickMeeting to host all our webinar content. We also take payments through ClickMeeting using PayPal.

ClickMeeting is very user-friendly, and you don’t need to download anything to watch or take part in our e-learning training. There is lots of help available on the ClickMeeting website if you have any technical problems.

The good news is that you don’t have to sign up for a PayPal account to purchase one of our webinars. If you don’t have an account, you will be given the option to pay by card, then asked if you wish to save your details.

Paying in this way still provides all the same protections usually offered during a PayPal transaction.
