Across a focused\, one-day online session\, delivered by experienced clinical psychologists\, participants explore attachment theory\, learn to identify trauma-related behaviours\, and develop skills in therapeutic regulation\, empathic discipline (using PACE and logical consequences)\, and self-care. Our Trauma-Informed Classrooms training addresses these challenges head-on by helping educators understand the “why” behind the behaviour. It offers practical strategies for regulation\, connection\, and behaviour support – empowering teachers to respond with confidence\, empathy\, and consistency. Crucially\, it also equips staff to create safe\, trusting environments where children feel understood and supported – laying the foundations for emotional recovery\, improved relationships\, and better learning outcomes. \nIt is delivered online via Zoom. \nWho is it suitable for?\nThis training is suitable for all professionals working in UK primary school settings\, including teachers\, teaching assistants\, SENCOs\, pastoral staff\, and senior leaders. It’s ideal for anyone supporting children who may have experienced trauma\, neglect\, or disrupted attachments – whether in mainstream or specialist provisions.
