Policies and Procedures

At Gateway Psychology, we are committed to providing a service that adheres to best practices and procedures. We adhere to the Code of Ethics outlined by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), as well as best practices outlined by the British Psychological Society (BPS). All our clinical staff are registered by the HCPC or the applicable registering body and abide by applicable guidelines. In addition, we are also regularly inspected by Ofsted for the work we do with adopted families (read more about our adoption service policies here).

We believe that it is always unacceptable for a vulnerable adult, child or young person to experience abuse of any kind. We recognise that we have a responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all vulnerable adults, children and young people by ensuring that we have robust practices in place to protect them.

Complaints Process

While we aim to provide a timely, flexible and professional service for all of our clients, we do understand that there may be occasions when a client wishes to make a complaint. All complaints are reviewed thoroughly and each complaint is taken very seriously.
